Birding enthusiasts travel to Patagonia from all over the world in search of rare, exotic specimens. The Nature Conservancy's Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve is renowned as a birding habitat that hosts more than 300 species migrating through, nesting and living in this lush, beautiful sanctuary.

The Preserve is open Wednesday thru Sunday from 6:30AM or 7:30AM (depending on the season) to 4:00PM. It is closed Monday and Tuesday. The Preserve is located at 150 Blue Heaven Road, Patagonia AZ 85624, about 2 miles from the Stage Stop Hotel. Telephone (520) 394-2400.

Entrance Fees are $3 for Conservancy members and $5 for Non-Conservancy members. Guided walks are offered every Saturday morning at 9:00am starting from the Visitor Center.
