The Stage Stop Inn is conveninetly located in Patagonia, Arizona, the heart of Arizona's Mountain Empire, one hour southeast of Tucson.
Area attractions include the famous Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Bird Sancturary, wineries in Elgin and Sonoita, and Arizona Trail trailheads. The area boasts a rich tradition of mining and cattle ranching; mining ghost towns and working ranches still populate the mountains surrounding Patagonia.
Birdwatchers flock to Patagonia in the Spring and Fall; Bicyclists enjoy beautiful high desert scenery along our quiet roads; Hikers challenge the Arizona Trail; and hunters seek plentiful game in the fall and winter.
